Backcountry Snowcats is a Cat Skiing and Snowboarding operation hidden in British Columbia's South Chilcotin Mountains to the north of Whistler.
The weather here is colder and drier than nearby Whistler (1 hour away) but gets all of the same storm cycles. It snows on average 10m (32ft) of cold dry snow per season accumulating up to 3.5m (11.5ft) base, making the terrain prime for skiing and riding.

- 1 hour north of Whistler, the Hurley pass is home to the Cat Skiing Operation. Located just north of Pemberton in the south Chilcotin Mountains. They meet you and your group in Pemberton and can also arrange Whistler pick up for large groups. Drive as a group to the pass and snowmobile in.
